A: I am Nastasia and I am 31 years old. I work for a big French fashion house.
Q: Which skin condition do you have?
A: Since I was born, I have had atopic eczema.
Q: What is your history with eczema?
A: Early on, I was diagnosed with atopic eczema. Since I can remember, my skin has always been dry.
My skin is often uncomfortable after showering (a real challenge!) or when I wake up in the morning... My skin peels when I wake up, which can be awkward... When I meet someone, I have to explain my eczema...
Pollen allergy outbreaks are more frequent and severe in the spring, but food allergies are also quite problematic ...
The cold in the winter makes my skin even drier, so I need to protect myself.
Stress makes things worse... It is a vicious cycle of thinking that when you are stressed, you are going to trigger an outbreak.
For me, taking care of my skin has always been a necessity: applying a moisturizer over my entire body every day and systematically after showering to limit discomfort. I apply lotion every time I wash my hands. I carefully select my soap and makeup remover.

Q: What is your experience with the Skintifique Hydrating Gel?
A: The Hydrating Gel has been in my daily routine for about one year now. I apply it once a day after taking a shower all over my body and about 10 times a day on my hands and lips. The product's moisturizing power surprised me from the start!
After applying it in the evening after taking a shower, my skin did not feel tight when I woke up, which had NEVER happened to me!
For its soothing and comforting side, however, it took more time. I had to wait for about 15 days before I felt comfortable. From then on, I had much less itching and scales than I did with my previous products.
I also liked the penetration of the product! It's great! I used to systematically stain my sheets and clothes.
Now even the most fragile and absorbent tissues like silk are no longer a problem. It's so nice to not have to worry about that.

Q: And in times of flare-ups, what is your routine?
A: When I have eczema outbreaks, I apply the Hydrating Gel about every 2 hours on the affected area and a thick layer at night.
In addition, I apply a cortisone cream. This combination relieves me the most.
Q: What products did you use before Skintifique?
A: Topicreme emollient balm, Dexeryl body lotion, Avène Cold Cream and shea butter.
Q: Would you like to say anything else?
A: My whole life, I've used creams. It is great to see that the Hydrating Gel is well rated by apps.
After learning that Dexeryl contained paraben, an endocrine disruptor, I became concerned about my fertility. In fact, this is the cream that I have used the most.
I certainly look for effectiveness in a moisturizer. In the long run, however, I think it's great not to have to choose between safety and efficiency.
