A strict blacklist of ingredients

All our formulas have been developed to respect the most sensitive skins, while being particularly safe for all. For this, we have banned 7 types of ingredients from our formulas.

Fragrances are used to make products more pleasant to use. Since they have no other use than being marketing arguments, they promote the risk of reaction for sensitive skin and take the place of ingredients that could have a real benefit for the skin.

Parabens are widely used preservatives in the cosmetics industry. As endocrine disruptors, they are regularly singled out as a health risk and because they accelerate skin aging when exposed to the sun.

Silicones are part of the range of occlusive ingredients, that is, they form a film on the surface of the skin, preventing it from breathing. Derived from petrochemicals, they also contribute to the pollution of the planet.

Endocrine disruptors are substances that alter the functioning of the endocrine system, i.e., the production and action of hormones essential to metabolism. The World Health Organization (WHO) has been warning about these ingredients for several years, pointing out “an increased risk of developing health problems.”

There is a common idea in cosmetics: all alcohols are harmful to the skin. If ethanol and isopropanol dry the skin, break down its protective film and increase the risk of skin reactions, fatty alcohols have no skin and health problems. So we removed the first 2 of our ingredient lists.

EDTA or Ethylene Acid Diamine Tetra Acetic is used in Cosmetics to curb the proliferation of bacteria. It is nevertheless accused of being toxic to health, polluting the planet and irritating to the skin.

Naturally occurring, essential oils are known to pose a significant risk of skin reaction to sensitive skin. They are also absolutely forbidden during pregnancy.
